Yvonne J. Russo, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, has left a lasting impact on all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Richard "Dick" Russo, and a loving mother to Denise (Bill) Greene, Vicky (Wayne) and Richard. Her grandchildren, Christopher and Taylor, held a special place in her heart, bringing her endless joy and pride.

Yvonne, born on October 12, 1938, in Cincinnati, OH, dedicated 38 years of her life as a secretary at LaSalle High School. Her commitment and hard work left a mark on all who passed through those halls. Outside of her professional life, she found solace on the dance floor, especially loving line dancing and the jitterbug. Yvonne and Dick shared a love for dancing, often enjoying nights out at the movies or dinner.

In her quieter moments, Yvonne found respite in reading/her love of books and the arts, frequently attending performing arts shows that brought her immense joy. But above all, her family was her greatest source of happiness, and she cherished spending time with them, whether on little trips or simply gathered together at home.

Yvonne peacefully passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at the age of 86. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Church in White Oak on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 12 pm. Her memory will forever be treasured by her family, including her sisters Rita, Edra, and brother Larry, and her extended family of nieces and nephews.
