With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Willena Miller, who departed this life peacefully on August 3, 2026, at the age of 86. A cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Willena leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever be remembered by her family and friends.

Willena was the beloved wife of the late William "Sam" Miller. She is survived by her devoted children, Barbara (Glenn) Robers, David (Allison) Miller and Deborah (John) Helbling. The warmth of her love extended to her grandchildren, Melissa (Brad) Bees, Benjamin (Amanda) Robers, Quentin Miller, Larkin (Steven Guerra) Miller, Maureen (Dylan) Harbolt, Anthony Helbling, and Nicole (Erik) Sturgell, as well as her caring great-grandchildren, Olivia, Isabella, Annabelle, Brock, Thor, and Sophiya.

Willena was a treasured sister to Josephine Hoerlein-Harms, Geraldine Pearson, and LaVerne Kleinberg, and was preceded in death by her brothers, Melvin "Red" Brandenburg and Jimmy Brandenburg. She will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of relatives and friends.

A dedicated employee of Mercy Hospital for over 22 years, Willena poured her heart into her work, finding joy in service. Off the clock, she was an avid bowler, a green-thumbed gardener, and an adventurous traveler, always ready to explore the world around her. Willena found joy in music and camaraderie, spending many cherished years involved with the Country Rhythm Band alongside her husband, and holding membership at the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge 93 in Elmwood. She cherished every moment spent with her family, whose laughter and love surrounded her heart.

A funeral service in honor of Willena Miller will be held at Frederick Funeral Home on August 14, 2026, at 1:00 PM, following a visitation that will begin at noon. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate her remarkable life and the indelible mark she left on all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Kidney Foundation or Hospice of Cincinnati, both of which held a special place in Willena's heart.
