Wayne Kent Minnich, born on December 5, 1930, son of the late Daniel and Hazel (Overholser) Minnich, beloved husband of the late Wilma Minnich of 70 years. Devoted father of Linda (Dennis) Scherer, the late Mary Jo (John) Campbell, Thomas (Rhonda) Minnich. Wayne was preceded in death by 5 sisters Cleona Oren, Naoma Gibson, Arlene Parker, Glenna Dills and Carolyn Tackett. Dear brother-in-law to Gayle Lang. the late Frank E. Lang, and the late Anna L (Lawrence) Schnee.  Loving grandfather of Jennifer (Mark) Pruitt, Matthew (Tamara) Scherer, Diane Scherer, Daniel (Deitra) Campbell, Robin (Michael) Anderson, Jamie (Valerie) Minnich, David (Jordan) Minnich, Adam Minnich, Joshua Minnich, Kari (Lance) Alexander, Mary Rose Minnich, Naomi Minnich, Jeanne (Daniel) Skomp. Great grandfather of Joseph Pruitt, Corinne Pruitt, Ben Pruitt, Stevie Pruitt, Haley Scherer, Tyler Scherer, Andie Scherer, Hunter Campbell, Jonathan Campbell, Joseph Campbell, Kate Minnich, Cayden Minnich, Lydia Minnich, and Isaac Minnich. Great-great grandfather to Andrew Tipton. Jr. and Austin Brayton. Wayne passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 26, 2022, at the age of 91. A Memorial Service will take place at Groesbeck United Methodist Church, 8871 Colerain Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45251 on Saturday August 27 ^th at 11:00am. There will be a reception to follow the service in the Fellowship Hall of the church for family and friends to gather and remember Wayne.
