In loving memory of Virginia Mae Lukens, affectionately known as Jenny, who was born on October 30, 1950, in Hanover, West Virginia, and passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, at the age of 75. Jenny was the cherished daughter of the late Joshua and Lena West, and she will forever be remembered for her fiery passion and bright energy that touched the lives of everyone around her.

Jenny is now reunited in heaven with her devoted husband, the late John Howard Lukens. Together, they cultivated a home with love, laughter, and cherished memories for their family. She leaves behind her beloved children: George (Michelle) Lukens, Cheryl (Joe) Murphy, Renee (Jim) Eve, Jarrett (Maria) Lukens, Lisa (Rob) Daviaux, and Kerrie Walters. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Joey (Kayla), David (Jessica), Michael (Miracia), Jeff, Courtney (Eric), Alexis (Dustin), Austin (Makayla), Tyler (Delaney), Autumn, Dylan, Ashton (Kayla), Alayna, Aurianna, and Aubree. She was also a cherished great-grandmother to Adalynn, Emrie, Ellie, Jaxon, Crimson, Kali, Everly, and EJ. Jenny is survived by her dear brothers Charles (the late Connie) West and Jimmy (Vella) West, along with many loving half-siblings, nieces, nephews and treasured friends, including Opal New and Linda Lacey. Jenny will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her family, and her memory will live on through stories filled with love and laughter.

Throughout her life, Jenny embraced the simple pleasures that brought her joy. In her leisure time, she enjoyed trying her luck at the casino; she also delighted in reading books, watching western shows, and tackling crossword puzzles and word searches. She had a special love for the sun and waves of Florida, where memories of family vacations brought her peace. Whether it was joyful moments on cruises or cheering on her beloved Cincinnati Bengals with an A&W Root Beer in hand, Jenny's heart was always with her family, especially her adored grandchildren.

In honor of Jenny's remarkable journey, a visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, located at 2553 Banning Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45239, on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 12:00 PM until time of funeral service at 1:00 PM. Friends and family are warmly invited to gather and share stories, celebrating a life beautifully lived and deeply cherished. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati , P.O. Box 633597, Cincinnati, OH 45263-3597. Jenny will forever reside in the hearts of those who loved her. Her legacy will continue to inspire generations, reminding us all of the beauty of family, friendship, and simple joys in life.
