Virginia "Ginny" Hudson, beloved matriarch of the Hudson family, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on April 28, 1935, Ginny was a devoted wife to the late Robert C. Hudson and a nurturing mother to her children: Robert (Connie) Hudson Jr., Keith (Mary) Hudson, Pam (Jeff) Bonekamp, and Bonnie (Stacy Whitney) Klotter.

Ginny's spirit shone brightly in her role as the cherished Grannie of Summer (Mike) Allen, Stefanie (Randy) Berg and Kristi (Corey) Focke, Jill (Jeremy) Watson, Brian (Kaitlin) Hudson, Lisa (Tim) Daniel, Randy (Erin) Hudson, Michele Hudson and Nick (Rachel) Hudson, Jennifer (Gary) Miller, Jeff (Elizabeth Rusche) Bonekamp,  Jared (Ashley) Bonekamp and Jordan (Anthony) Rudd, Amanda (Blake) Myers, Shelby (Alex) Simon and Brandon Klotter. Proud GIGI of Peyton, Parker, Gunner, Hudson, Noble, Camryn, Tommy, Chase, Paige, Irelin, Landrie, Preston, Conrad, Laine, Graham, Heath, Griffin, Kael, Nessa, Plus One baby on the way, Sophie, Levi, Lexi, Garrison, Zoey, Evie, Austin, Johanna, Beckett, Levi and Ella. Her family was her greatest joy, and she found immense happiness in the laughter and love that surrounded her. She was a woman of vibrant passions, known for her love of gardening and animals, finding delight in the small wonders of life, such as feeding hummingbirds and enjoying the thrill of playing the slot machines at local casinos.

A visitation will be held for family and friends at Frederick Funeral Home, located at 2553 Banning Rd., on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at Arlington Memorial Gardens at 12:00 p.m.
