Victor J Ritze Jr. (95) Born October 22, 1930, to parents Victor and Marcella (nee Kramer). He graduated from Roger Bacon High School and enlisted in the army during the Korean War stationed in England where he met his future wife, Gwyn Millard. He was a Foreman at Jordan Valve. A Parishioner of St Gertrude the Great Traditional Catholic Church, and a longtime member of the John Birch Society. He was one of the first Soccer Coaches in the Cincinnati area for Groesbeck SAY Soccer. He was preceded in death by Gwyn (married 43 years), sister June (Edward) Keller and his granddaughters Melissa and Krystal, Stepson Richard VandeRyt. Survived by his second wife Doloris VandeRyt (married for 24 years), his 10 children; Theresa (Rick) Hill, David (Janet) Ritze, Christopher (Rita) Ritze, Gerard (Monica) Ritze, Victor (Kim) Ritze, Stephen (Amy) Ritze, Jennifer (Nick Zito) Ritze, Valerie (Jose Alvarodo) Schaeper, Helen Ritze, and Rachel (James) Hart. 35 Grandchildren, 45 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren. 8 Stepchildren; Angela (Rick) Schmidt, George (Michelle) VandeRyt, Jeanne (late Dennis) Hille, Mary (Joseph) Kunkel, Karen (Jeff Winningham) VandeRyt, Julie (Daniel) Burwinkel, Rose (Michael Volz) Kuebler, late Richard VandeRyt, and John (Jessica) VandeRyt, 44 Step-Grandchildren, 73 Step-Great Grandchildren and 2 Step Great-Great Grandchildren. A visitation will be held Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd., from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Prior to Requiem Mass, Rosary will take place at 11:00 AM at St. Gertrude the Great Roman Catholic Church, 4900 Rialto Rd, West Chester Township, OH 45069. Requiem Mass will follow on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 11:25 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St.Gertrude the Great Roman Catholic Church .
