Vicki Gleason Vandam Humphreys, 70 of Cincinnati passed away on December 21st 2021. She was born July 2nd, 1951. Vicki was raised in Dayton and was daughter to Frank Vandam and Pauline Brubaker. She was preceded in death by her younger sister Cheryl Vandam, her half brother David Vandam and is survived by her half sister Rosemary Monbeck. Vicki lived her life filled with blessings and favor! She saw life as a journey filled with test and chose to believe nothing was a failure but everything was a opportunity for growth. Vicki had no regrets in life although she did make mistakes she believed that the lessons learned from those mistakes made her the successful, understanding, and loving person we all knew. Vicki was an extremely strong, independent woman and with most things in life she studied, researched and taught herself. She started off her working life as a very talented seamstress later to become a successful entrepreneur.  She loved gardening, nature, walks in the park and her time spent with Colerain Historical Society. She really loved helping and taking care of others. Growing up she was always the protector to her sisters and her brother. Vicki was a woman of faith and enjoyed listening to the preachings of Joel Osteen which she drew strength and inspiration from. Vicki believed that we should 'Walk by faith and not by Sight'  (2 Corintians 5:7) She also loved animals and was always taking care of her feral cats and would be happy to take care of other peoples dogs or cats as well. She showed support, encouragement and unconditional love to her surviving son Travis Humphreys. Vicki also wanted everyone to know it was a privilege to have had the opportunity to be the mother of her son Travis Jay Humphreys. Vicki brought kindness, gentleness, strength and hope to this world and truly made it a better place to live.  This world suffered a grave loss when Vicki passed away and she is now and will be forever deeply missed by us all. Although she is no longer with us physically she wants us all to know that her energy is still with us and will always be with us. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life service at 11:00 AM, Sunday, July 2nd 2023 at Heritage Park in Cincinnati.
