In loving memory of Sue Ann Hartmann, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 66. Born in Cincinnati, OH on April 4, 1958, Sue illuminated the lives of those around her with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit. She will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Sue was the cherished wife of the late James L. Hartmann and a devoted mother to her children: Michael (Barbara) Hartmann, Traci Hartmann, Adam Hermes, and Betsy Develle. As a beloved grandmother, she found immense joy in the company of her grandchildren, Tony, Cora, and JJ, who brought her endless happiness and laughter. She was also a dear sister to Steve Luensman and Theresa Anders and is predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Agnes Luensman, as well as siblings Jack Luensman and Patricia Bracken. Her family will carry forth her spirit, keeping her memory alive through the treasured stories filled with love and laughter they will continue to share.

Throughout her life, Sue personified the beauty of simple pleasures. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by family, especially her grandchildren, with whom she created countless cherished memories. She found joy in the camaraderie of her community at Game On, where friendships blossomed and laughter echoed . A true lover of nature, she delighted in the company of her beloved cats and would often feed the raccoons that visited her home. Among her favorite places, Myrtle Beach held a special place in her heart, where she found solace in the sun and tranquility by the pool, often visiting multiple times a year.

To honor Sue's remarkable life, funeral services will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45239 on Monday, February 17, 2025 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to join us in celebrating her spirit, sharing stories, and finding comfort in one another's presence. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at St. Boniface Church, 1750 Chase Ave, on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 10:30 AM where we can continue to reminisce, reflect, and cherish the legacy that Sue leaves behind.
