Sue Ann Denier

It is with both sadness and gratitude that we celebrate the life of Sue Ann Denier, who passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on August 30, 1946, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Sue Ann lived a vibrant life full of love, laughter, and joy.

Sue Ann is remembered as a devoted wife for 61 years to her beloved husband, Denny Denier. Together, they nurtured a warm and loving home, surrounded by their four children: Susan (Chuck) Laumann, Steve (Kim) Denier, Dan (Gina) Denier, and Katie (Kris) Koetters. Sue Ann was a proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren-Morgan (Austin), Kelsey (Eric), Mackenzie (Chace), Ben (Katie), Taylor (Kenny), Trevor (Stephanie), Sophie (Adam), Ella (Austin), Jack, Allie, Brody, and Hayden-and cherished her great-grandchildren Maverick, Collins, Scarlett, Brooks, and Lilly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Tenkman and Christine Bertke and leaves behind loving sisters-in-law Sandy Feldhaus and Pam (Steve) Davis, as well as her dear friends Bonnie and Tim Hausfeld, and her cherished dog Dixie. Sue Ann's life was enriched by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

Sue Ann was known for her beautiful spirit, evidenced by her great sense of humor and the warmth she brought to every room she entered. She loved shopping, playing cards with her grandchildren, and knitting, creating lasting memories with family and friends and she always looked forward to going on big family vacations in Hilton Head and all staying together in the same house. A true testament to her vibrant youth, she was once crowned Miss Sweet Sixteen of Southern Ohio, a reflection of her vibrant personality.

As we remember Sue Ann, we reflect on the countless ways she touched our lives. Her legacy is woven through the love of her family, her laughter, and her unwavering devotion to those she cherished.

As we gather to celebrate the life of Sue Ann, we invite family and friends to join us in remembering her at a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at St. Ignatius Church, 5222 N Bend Road at 11:00 AM. Prior to that, a visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Road on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
