It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Jeanell Farmer. She passed away peacefully in Florida with her children at her side. Sharon goes to be with her late Husband Kenneth Farmer, her son David Byrd, and brothers Don Byrd and Roy Byrd. She leaves behind her brother Jerry Byrd, her three children Bill Durbin, Joy Olka (David Olka) and Debi Smith (Mark Smith), her nine grandchildren Christina Davis, Steven Durbin, Brandon Hughes, Ashley Woodall, Drew Hughes, Josh Durbin, Christopher Durbin, Jacob Fraze and James Fraze. Sharon had 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Sharon was very active with 405 Oak Street and had a great love for many of the people there. She loved to travel with her husband Ken, and they went all over the country visiting family and exploring new locations from the mountains to the forests to the beaches and places in between. Sharon loved reading, growing her plants, gardening and crocheting but more than anything, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

After the passing of her husband, Sharon moved to Florida to be near her daughters and all the children. She loved getting to know and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Near the end, her favorite times were sitting in her room watching "Mama's Family" with her great grandson Daniel Hughes and sharing chocolate sugar wafers. They could eat a whole pack together.

Sharon will be dearly missed by her entire family and friends.

A celebration of Sharon's life will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45239 on Friday, July 12, 2024. The visitation will commence at 11:00 am with a beautiful funeral service following at 12:00 pm.
