Obituary

In loving memory of Scott Kenneth Seibel, who was born in Cincinnati, OH on January 3, 1973, and passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 53. Scott was a beloved son of the late Kenneth and late Martha Seibel. Scott is remembered as a cherished brother, uncle, and friend to many.

His bright humor, passion for sports, and culinary talents touched many, and he will be profoundly missed by all. Scott's spirit will forever be cherished by his brother Paul (Sarah) Seibel, as well as Kevin (Jane) Seibel, and his late brother Adam Seibel. He was also a beloved brother-in-law to Amy (Bryan) Howard and will be missed by his loving nieces and nephews: Abby, A.J., Anna, Sasha, and David Seibel. Scott will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his family, and his memory will live on through stories filled with love and laughter.

A proud graduate of St. Xavier High School, Scott furthered his education at Xavier University before earning his doctorate at Capital University Law School. He dedicated his professional life as an attorney at Jacobs, Kleinman, Seibel & McNally LPA, where he dedicated his life to serving his community, forging lasting relationships, and advocating for those in need.

Scott's love for sports ran deep as he was an athlete in his youth, excelling in cross-country, basketball, and baseball with the Midland Redskins. His love for sports extended into his adult life as he cheered on the Bengals, Reds, Xavier basketball, and attended ATP tennis tournaments. Yet, it was his passion for food that truly defined him. As a home cook and gracious host, Scott found immeasurable joy in uniting family and friends around the dining table, where he would share not only his meticulously prepared dishes but also stories and laughter. He traveled the world, bringing global flavors back to his home, and often dedicated days to perfecting a single recipe or sauce, always aiming to transport his loved ones to far-off lands through taste.

In honor of Scott's remarkable journey, a visitation will take place at St. Ignatius Church, located at 5222 N Bend Rd, on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 11:00 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM. We invite all who knew and loved Scott to join us as we come together for a time of prayer and reflection, celebrating his life through shared stories and heartfelt memories that embody his spirit.

His laughter, kindness, and love will forever resonate in our hearts, reminding us to cherish each moment and to gather around the table, just as he would have done. Scott Kenneth Seibel will be deeply missed, but his legacy of joy, love, and connection will remain in the hearts of many.
