Sandra (Sandy) Simons

April 19, 1948 – December 29, 2025

Sandra "Sandy" Simons (née Meyer), of The Villages, Florida, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on December 29, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and warmth that touched everyone who knew her.

Born on April 19, 1948, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Stanley E. and Marjorie B. Meyer. Sandy grew up with a strong sense of family and a generous spirit that guided her throughout her life. She was a proud graduate of St. Ursula Academy (Class of 1966) and the Jewish Hospital School of Nursing (Class of 1969).

Sandy was a loving mother to Ryan (Kara) Simons and Sara (Mike) Milidonis. Her grandchildren—Lauren Milidonis, Kate Simons, and Cole Simons, brought her immense pride and happiness. Sandy is survived by her loving sisters, Chris (Mark) Albonetti, and Lisa (Jim) Milyo. Sandy was a beloved aunt to Jennifer (Bobby) Stiens, Erin (Daryl) Curry, Matthew Albonetti, Kaylee (Josh) Sawyers and Christopher Milyo. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Eric "Rick" Meyer.

Sandy will be remembered for her strength, her generous heart, and the way she made others feel seen and loved. She approached life with kindness and quiet determination, offering support, laughter, and comfort to those around her. Her presence brought warmth to every room, and her love for her family remained the steady center of her world. Her memory will continue to shine through the lives she touched.
