In Loving Memory of Ruth Geier Galvin

Ruth Geier Galvin graced this world with her warmth and kindness, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Born on February 26, 1931, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of Clarence and Josephine Geier. Dear sister of the late Shirley (late Art) Conley.

Surrounded by her beloved family, Ruth peacefully departed this life on May 3, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and grace. She was the devoted mother of Pamela (Bill) Hare, Debra (Stephen) Hanrahan, Timothy (Michelle) Galvin, and Christopher Galvin, and is preceded in death by her beloved son, John Galvin.

Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Todd Hare, Amanda Hare, Laura Butt, Steven Hanrahan, Jack Galvin, Nikki Osborn, Nicholas Galvin, Brooke Galvin, and Jake Galvin. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Parker, Quinn, Joshua, Caleb, Hannah, Connor, Gracie, Tessa, Remington, Sean, Isabel, Jace, Kaden, and Kellen.

Ruth was the heart and guiding light of her family - a cherished matriarch and confidant to all. Her devotion was evident in every moment she spent following the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with love, pride, and joy.

She believed in the goodness of people and never gave up on them, even during difficult times. Her life was a testament to unconditional love, steadfast faith in God, and unshakable optimism.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. John the Evangelist Church - Deer Park, 7121 Plainfield Rd on Tuesday (May 13) at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Hospice of Cincinnati , P.O. Box 633597 Cincinnati, OH 45263-3597.
