Robert "Bob" Carl Scherer passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the age of 93, son of the late Carl and Helen (Goedde) Scherer, beloved husband of the late Hazel Kathryn (Ruebusch). Dear brother-in-law to Richard (Jeanine) Ruebusch and Ruth Ann Hellkamp. Devoted Father of Dennis (Linda) Scherer, Diane (Richard) Falasco, Kevin (the late Terry Knecht) Scherer and Rob (Tammy) Scherer. Loving Grandfather of Jennifer (Mark) Pruitt, Matthew (Tamara) Scherer, Diane Scherer, Mark (Jason) Scherer, Ryan (Tyra) Scherer, Lindsey (Joseph) Schoenlaub, Ben (Alayzia) Scherer, Eric Falasco (engaged to Lauren Houston), Kristin (Tyler) Case, Ashley Scherer, Kayla Scherer, Brittany (Ethan) Ellington, and Brandy (Christopher) Fisher. Great Grandfather of Joseph Pruitt, Corinne Pruitt, Ben Pruitt, Stevie Pruitt, Haley (Austin) Brayton, Tyler Scherer, Andie Scherer, Jett Scherer, Baker Scherer, Brynn Scherer, Brady Scherer, Bronson Scherer, Oaklyn Scherer, Monroe Scherer, Ramsey Scherer, Nathan Case and Cole Fisher. Great-great grandfather to Andrew Tipton. Jr., Austin Brayton and Serenity Dawn Brayton.

Visitation at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd. on Friday (January 6) from 8:30am-9:30am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann Church at 10:00am. Mass will be simulcast for viewing if you are unable to attend. (https://saintannparish.org/) . Robert will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Memorial Park, 11825 Pippin Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231. The immediate family will celebrate Bob's life after the burial.
