Bob was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. After returning from his service, Bob was an electrician that worked for the power company at a substation maintaining power grid.

In 65 years of marriage, he was the beloved husband of the late Elaine A. Klosterman, with whom he shared countless adventures and cherished memories. He was a proud father to his six children, Tina Munafo (the late Jerome) , Mark (Jean) Klosterman, Kurt Klosterman, Craig (Sherryl) Klosterman, Amy Thrower (Roberto) and Staci (Steve) Ennis. His legacy of love extends to his 15 grandchildren- Joseph, Bridgette, Kelly, Casey, the late Eric, Nicole, Al, Strahan, Britt, Sadi, Tessa, Logan, Kaitlyn, Courtney, and Kyle-and his 16 great-grandchildren- Duncan, Xavier, Kayden, Denver, James, Drew, Declan, Tripp, Cedar, Chelsea, Otto, Adel, Alyus, Ayla, Lainey, and Grace.
