In loving memory of Richard Cotton. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He was born on April 13, 1971, in Cincinnati, Ohio and passed away on July 27, 2024 at the age of 53.  Richard touched the lives of many during his time on this earth as he was a beloved son to his parents the late Herman and late Donna Cotton. Loving husband for 18 years to Michelle Cotton. A proud father to his sons Anthony Cotton, Branden Neeley, and Shane Neeley. Dear brother of the late Mike Cotton and brother-in-law of Jean (Marty) Harig, David Howard and the late Theresa Howard. Caring uncle of Brandon Cotton, Brooklyn Cotton, David Howard, Samantha Howard and Robbie Breeden. Richard also found companionship and joy in the friendship of Dawn Breeden and his beloved dog Callie. He will forever cherish the memorable moments he shared with his friends and family.

Richard's passion for the great outdoors was evident throughout his life, from fishing trips with his family at Saint Marys Lake in Celina to creating new memories with his wife and children at Marsh and Turners Lake. His love for tinkering and thrill for speed was evident in the time he spent working on his Dodge Challenger. Where he often tested the speed limits and enjoyed the power of his vehicle. In his down time Richard found joy in watching his favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, reflecting his vibrant spirit and unwavering dedication. His ardor for spending time with his loved ones was evident in every activity as they were always his priority.

A memorial service will be held at Frederick Funeral Home Family Center, 2553 Banning Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45239 on Saturday, August 17, at 1:00 p.m. with a celebration of Richards life following the service until 3:00 p.m. As we mourn Richard's passing, we hold close memories of his gentle nature, love for nature, and dedication to family and friends. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, as they find solace in the memories they shared with him. May Richard rest in peace and his legacy of love and dedication be carried on by those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
