Retired Deputy Sheriff Frank J. Klar Jr., 61, beloved son of Claire Klar and the late Frank Klar Sr., passed away on October 25, 2021, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Among those who cherish his memory are dearest friends Lisa and Dave Wilke and Lynn Rulman, aunts and uncles Ann and George Arnold, Ron Schroeder, Dan Klar and the late Joseph Klar, plus multiple cousins, friends and fellow law enforcement colleagues. After three years in the U.S. Army, Frank served for 36 years as a Deputy Sheriff with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. Upon retirement due to his cancer diagnosis, he continued to volunteer as a Special Deputy with the Sheriff's Office and was recently promoted to Corporal. In August, he was recognized for superior achievement over 37 years by the Rotary Club of Cincinnati.
