In loving memory of Raymond B. Finke, who was born on August 16, 1931, in Cincinnati, OH. Ray was a cherished son of the late Fred and Marie Finke, and he peacefully passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 93, surrounded by his loving family. His presence was a bright light in the lives of all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.

Ray was a beloved husband to the late Betty (nee Roehm) Finke, and together they created a loving home filled with laughter and joy, raising five children: David (Tina) Finke, Gerard (Lorraine) Finke, Myra (Roger) Kathmann, Allan (Rebecca) Finke, and Lois (Thomas) Beresford. He took immense pride in his role as a grandfather to 15 grandchildren and as a great-grandfather to 12, always sharing stories, wisdom, and unconditional love. He is also remembered fondly as a dear brother to the late Fred Finke and the late Rosemarie (Albert) Foltzer.

Throughout his life, Ray embraced the role of a family man, always offering love and support to those he held dear. A proud veteran, he served in the Navy on a destroyer during the Korean War, committing four years of his life to protect and serve his country. After his honorable discharge, he dedicated himself to his craft as a carpenter, being a respected member of Carpenters Local Union #126, where he showcased his craftsmanship and dedication. Beyond his professional life, he generously shared his skills by volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul, helping those in need while building a strong community.

Ray found serenity in nature, often camping and fishing, where he felt most at peace. A devoted Cincinnati Reds fan, he often radiated joy while cheering for his team, sharing his love of the game with family and friends.

We invite family and friends to join us in honoring Ray's remarkable life. A visitation will be held at St. Ann Church, 2900 W Galbraith Rd. on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 12:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Ann - St. Vincent de Paul , 2900 W Galbraith Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45239 reflecting his legacy of compassion and service to others. Raymond B. Finke will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
