Raymond H. Ball, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on March 19, 1937, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he brought warmth and kindness into the lives of those around him. Ray was the cherished son of the late Frank and Elizabeth (nee Lang) Ball.

Ray served his country proudly in the Army, exemplifying the values of honor and dedication that he carried throughout his life. He found his calling as a meat cutter where his work ethic and commitment were admired by colleagues and customers alike.

He is survived by his brother Melvin (late Patricia) Ball. Preceded in death by his siblings and their spouses, Elaine (Arthur) Buechel, Virginia (Robert) Kramer and Alberta (Al) Thien. Loving uncle of Michael Ball, Karen Perkins, Jeff Kramer, Connie Petit, Arthur Buechel, David Buechel, Deborah Hey, Gary Buechel, Sandra Herrmann, late Richard Thien and late Patricia Madewell. Also survived by numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Ray was a man who found joy in life's simple pleasures. He spent countless afternoons cheering on his beloved Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati Bengals, and enjoyed indulging in the nostalgia of old TV show reruns. A true lover of puzzles, he often delighted in the challenge they provided, always inviting family and friends to share a laugh or two along the way. Most importantly, he cherished his time spent with those he loved, creating lasting memories that will never be forgotten.

In honor of Ray's life, a graveside service will be held at Vine Street Hill Cemetery on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate the remarkable life of a man who impacted so many.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice, reflecting Ray's generous spirit and love for his community.

Ray will be profoundly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May his memory live on in our hearts and bring us comfort in our shared remembrances.
