With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ralph C. Amshoff, a beloved husband, father, and cherished friend, who departed this life on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on July 7, 1935 to the late Harry and Flora (nee Lehmkuhl) Amshoff, Ralph was a lifelong resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, where he leaves behind a loving legacy.

Ralph was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Marilyn Amshoff (née Stalford), with whom he shared nearly 62 years of marriage. Their bond, forged through love and companionship, was a testament to their unwavering support for one another as they journeyed through life together. Ralph was a devoted father of Greg (Vicki) Amshoff and Ken Amshoff. Loving grandfather of Dylan Amshoff. Dear brother of Lou Amshoff. Preceded in death by his siblings, Marietta Heupel, Edward Amshoff, Raymond Amshoff, Richard Amshoff, Rita Schmitt and Ron Amshoff. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Ralph dedicated 43 years of his life as a printer at Gibson Greeting Card, where his passion for his craft found expression in every printed page. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, he often remarked that there was nothing more fulfilling than creating something that brought joy to others.

In addition to his professional contributions, Ralph found joy and fulfillment in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fisherman, a spirited golfer, and a regular player of bingo, reveling in the camaraderie these activities brought. He had a particular fondness for visiting the casino, where he enjoyed trying his luck at the slots. These pastimes became cherished traditions, creating countless memories with family and friends.

Ralph will be remembered not only for his engaging spirit and sense of humor but also for the love he poured into his family and community. He was a man of integrity, kindness, and warmth, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A memorial mass to honor Ralph's life and legacy will take place at St. James Church (White Oak), 3565 Hubble Rd., on Thursday (Feb. 27) at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that those wishing to honor Ralph make a donation to Tunnel to Towers Foundation , 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
