In loving memory of PJ Haas, who was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on November 25, 1959, and passed away on June 18, 2025, at the age of 65. PJ was a cherished son of the late Dr. Paul Haas Sr. and T. Christina Haas. He leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

PJ was the beloved husband of Mindy Haas for 38 wonderful years, during which they created a loving and nurturing home for their two children, Gus (Jennifer) Haas and Libby (Paul) Szabo. As a dedicated grandfather, he brought joy to the life of his granddaughter, Beatrice Haas. PJ was also a dear brother to Suzanne Haas, Dr. Stephen (Dan) Haas, Amy Margaret (late Thad) Bullock-Haas and a caring uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. His family will forever hold a special place for him in their hearts, keeping alive the countless stories filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

PJ journey through life was rich and fulfilling. PJ attended Summit Elementary before finishing his education at St. Catherine's. He graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1978 and went on to earn his degree in business from Ohio State University. PJ dedicated almost 40 years of his career to Snap-on Tools, where he worked until his retirement, earning respect and admiration from both colleagues and friends.

PJ spirit extended beyond work and family. He spent twelve years with the Queen City Rugby Club, where he formed lifelong friendships and shared countless exhilarating moments. He had a love for cooking, where he often delighted family and friends with his culinary creations. He also treasured time spent fishing, camping, and canoeing, always seeking the beauty of nature. A passionate supporter of his daughter's soccer endeavors and a dedicated coach for his son's wrestling, PJ's unwavering encouragement instilled confidence and strength in those he loved.

As we gather to celebrate PJ's remarkable life, we invite all those who knew him to join us in honoring his memory. A visitation will take place at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45239 on Tuesday (June 24) from 4:00 PM -7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday (June 25) at St. Bernard Church-Taylor Creek, 7130 Harrison Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45247 at 11:00 AM, where we will share in remembrance and reflection as a community.
