In loving memory of Patrick Chin, who was born on July 13, 1938, in Jamaica, and peacefully passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 87. Patrick will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and a simple yet profound outlook on life that touched the hearts of all who knew him.

Patrick was a devoted husband for 38 wonderful years to the late Janet Chin, with whom he shared an extraordinary bond that began in their childhood in Jamaica. Their love blossomed as they journeyed together, ultimately making their home in the United States, where they built a nurturing environment for their cherished son, PJ Chin. As the beloved brother to seven siblings and a treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews, Patrick's family will forever hold him close in their hearts, his memory living on through the stories filled with joy and laughter that they will continue to share.

Having traveled from Jamaica to England and then to Cincinnati, Patrick was known for his unwavering strength and simple joys in life. He found joy in practicing judo and had a love for soccer, cherishing the memory of witnessing the 1966 World Cup tournament in England. His strength and confidence inspired those around him, and in his later years, his natural kindness and selflessness shone brightly as he took time to write heartfelt goodbye letters to friends and family members, always seeking to uplift and support them.

In honor of Patrick's life, funeral services will be held privately for family,  as he wrote  goodbye letters in lieu of family and friends attending, reflecting his loving spirit and the bonds that he cherished. Let us celebrate his remarkable life and come together in a spirit of remembrance and reflection.
