Patrick Charles Berding, beloved husband of the late Mary Jo Berding. Devoted father of Scott (Karen) Berding, Sue Berding, Mike Berding, Dave (Sheila) Berding, Mark (Laura) Berding, Sally (Tom) Tressler and Katy (Greg) Samuels. Loving grandfather of Erin (Richard) Heimbrock, Andrew (Jessica) Berding, Jacob (Kari) Lindegren, Ashley (Connor) Ratycz, Allison Berding, Matthew Tressler, Ryan Tressler, Alec Samuels, Megan Tressler and Dylan Samuels. Great grandfather of Bentley Heimbrock, Abigail Heimbrock, Hazel Berding, Hunter Berding, Arthur Ratycz, Harper Berding, Zoey Lindegren and Finley Ratycz. Dear brother of the late Judy Bissmeyer.  Patrick is survived by a large loving family.  He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be missed dearly.  Patrick was a real estate appraiser and worked up until last year when his cancer diagnosis forced him to retire.  Patrick was a very social guy and loved when his house of 56 years was filled with friends, laughter and plenty of cold beer.  He loved traveling with cruising being one of his favorite trips. He enjoyed attending his children's and grandchildren's sporting events.  His smile was contagious and even while battling cancer he still smiled every day.  Patrick passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the age of 83. Visitation at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd. on Saturday (April 20) from 9AM - 12PM. A celebration of life will follow at LaRosa's on Boudinot from 12PM – 4PM.
