It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia M. Rohrer, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt, who peacefully passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 89, surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was a cherished presence whose warmth and spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. She was welcomed into eternal rest, reuniting with her beloved husband, Gerry Rohrer, who predeceased her after a devoted 61-year marriage.

Born in Newport, Kentucky, on February 3, 1935, Patricia faced many battles in her lifetime, including a courageous 26-year struggle on and off with cancer. Her tenacity was an inspiration to all who knew her, earning her the affectionate nickname 'mighty mouse.' Despite the challenges life presented, Patricia's spirit remained vibrant and resilient, a testament to her remarkable strength.

Patricia's love story began when she married the late Gerry Rohrer at the young age of 19. Together, they spent 61 beautiful years, filled with laughter, love, and countless memories. Their bond was evident as Patricia traveled to Europe to join Gerry during his military service. She traveled on the SS United States Ocean Liner to France, then by train to Paris, where they were reunited in the Paris train station. Upon spotting him, she dropped her bags and ran into his arms as he swept her off  her feet and twirled her in a warm embrace. She has said this is the happiest moment of her life.  The warmth of their embrace remains a treasured memory for all who witnessed their love. Together, they celebrated joyful moments, from cheering on their sons and grandsons at St. Xavier and Cathedral High School football games to gathering with their beloved dinner club friends. Together, they raised a beautiful family: As a mother, Patricia's nurturing heart extended to her four children: Kathleen Corrill, Steven (Lori) Rohrer, Diane Seifert (the late Bruce Ibold), and Ron (Lisa) Rohrer. She raised them with love and kindness, instilling in them the values of family and togetherness. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Scott Paul, Alek (Emily) Corrill, Chad (Erin) Rohrer, Todd Rohrer, Andrew (Kelly) Seifert, Danielle (Brett) Renzenbrink, Nick (Maggie) Rohrer, Aaron (Gabrielle) Rohrer, and Katrina (Peter) Witchger, along with her 17 adored great-grandchildren and one on the way. Patricia's legacy of love will continue to resonate through the ages. As the dear sister of the late Maureen Perry, Elaine Smith, Paul Burke II, and the late Mary Margaret Taylor. Patricia was remembered fondly for her warmth and compassionate spirit and vibrant personality, which will continue to shine through the many lives she touched.

Known for her radiant energy, Patricia was a social butterfly who loved hosting family gatherings and organizing events. She took pride in her Irish heritage, enjoying cultural activities, art, music, and annual vacations spent by the water with loved ones.

Family and friends are invited to gather as they honor Patricia's life and legacy. A visitation will take place on January 23, 2025, from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45239 followed by a Funeral Service at St. James Church, 3565 Hubble Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45247 at 11:00 AM.
