In loving memory of Patricia L. Hardesty, who was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  Born on March 3, 1952 in Stanford, Kentucky, Pat spent her life doing everything for everyone.  Whether she was on the rooftop of a barn, digging in the school rose garden, or altering friends or family's clothing, she gave her full energy and effort to help others.  She peacefully passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at the age of 72 surrounded by her family.

Pat was a dedicated daughter to her loving parents, Norman and Jean Lister, and a devoted wife of 51 years to her beloved husband, Bob Hardesty.  She was a nurturing mother to Kathy (Jason) Warren and Kim (Colin) Baker, and a doting "Nana" to her precious granddaughter, Harper Ann.  Her familial love extended to her brother, Jim (Trish) Lister, and her late sister, Sandy Barnhart, who Pat adored.  Pat was also a proud aunt to Sandy's son Matt (Brittany) Orr as well as a multitude of other nieces and nephews - if asked, she would have said they were all her favorite.  She loved her many aunts and uncles, several who preceded her in death, but also those she is survived by, Shirley Scully and Ralph (Geneva) Gaffney.  Her many in-laws were never in-laws in her eyes, only family.  She was a dedicated friend to many over the years and once you were her friend, you were friends for life.   Pat's love for her family and friends was evident in every aspect of life and her memory will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew her, as they share stories filled with love and laughter that will echo through generations.

Pat found joy in the simple pleasures.  She loved any adventure, big or small, including traveling, concerts, playing cards, working puzzles, and volunteering throughout her daughters' school years.  She was an accomplished seamstress and there was no craft or home improvement project she couldn't tackle.  She loved being outdoors soaking up the sun whether she was doing yardwork or walking around her favorite place - a beach.

Pat will be deeply missed, but forever cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.  May her legacy of love and compassion continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.  She was a strength, a force, and a presence to be reckoned with in the best of ways.

A celebration of Pat's life will be held at Frederick Funeral Home Family Center, 2553 Banning Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45239 on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 2-5pm. We encourage all to join in honoring her beautiful spirit and the profound impact she had on our lives.
