Patricia Jean Durbin (nee Dixon), a vibrant spirit cherished by all, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, at the age of 84. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward "George" Durbin and a devoted mother to her children: Taren (Bob) Boreing, Kim (Rick) Snow, Edward Durbin Jr., Kelly (Kent) Steinmetz, Lynn (Bob) Bell, and Dave (late Bev) Durbin. Full of love and laughter, Patricia will be lovingly remembered as a doting grandmother to her grandchildren: Lindsay, Chase, Travis, Dylan, Ricky, Kyle, and Tristan. Her legacy continues with her ten great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. She was preceded in death by her grandson Cody Boreing and her great granddaughter Brooklyn Young.

Pat was a remarkable woman who filled her days with adventure and warmth. She found great joy in her family, camping trips, and her love for reality TV. With over 18 years of dedicated service at Denny's Restaurant and as the much-loved "lunch lady" at Scarlet Oaks, she made countless friends and left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Pat's infectious spirit and ability to make people smile will always be remembered by those fortunate enough to have known her.

A celebration of Patricia's life will take place at the Frederick Funeral Home, located at 2553 Banning Rd. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 5 PM until the time of the funeral service at 7:30 PM. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring Pat's remarkable journey and the joy she brought to so many.
