Monica Schafer (nee O'Brien), beloved wife of the late Arthur "Larry" Schafer. Devoted mother of Craig (Pam) Schafer, Debbie Kocis, Donna (Darryl) Niederbaumer, Jeff (Debbie) Schafer and Darlene Apted. Loving grandmother of Hannah Kocis, Josh (Britainy) Niederbaumer, Alex Kocis, Nicole Niederbaumer, Jake Niederbaumer, Owen Apted and the late Randi Bosecker. Great Grandmother of Hayden Niederbaumer. Dear sister of Barb (late Gene) Kramer, the late Ellen (late Bob) Kahny and the late Robert (late Georgia) O'Brien. Monica passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at the age of 88. Visitation at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd. on Friday (June 17) from 8:30am -9:30am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Church - White Oak at 10am.
