In Loving Memory of Mona Marie Wiedenheft, who was born July 3, 1936, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026. She was the cherished daughter of the late William and Marie Beierle and will forever be remembered for her bright spirit and kindness. Mona had an extraordinary ability to light up a room and never met a stranger. Her laughter and heartfelt conversations touched the lives of everyone she encountered; she will be missed dearly.

Mona was the beloved wife of 42 years to the late Charles John Wiedenheft Jr. Together, they created a beautiful life filled with love, joy, and countless memories, often dancing to the tunes of Old Time Rock and Roll, creating moments that will echo in the hearts of their family forever. Mona lived her life surrounded by love, as the proud mother of Tina Marie (Steve) Brown, Tammy (Brian) Rice, Terrie (John Muench) Wiedenheft, and Chuck (Denise) Wiedenheft and step-mother of Tony Wiedenheft and Charlotte (Charlie) Lambert. Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren, Brittany (Joel) Childs, Ashley (Andrew) Hardwick and John Paul Muench as well as her step-grandchildren, April, Lane, Amber, Lance, Erin, and Chance Additionally, she took great joy in being a great-grandmother to Mason Hardwick, Lincoln Hardwick, Michael Foist, Nathan Foist, Olivia Quinlan, and Emily Quinlan. Mona's family, including many loving relatives, will forever hold her close in their hearts, recounting the stories filled with her love and laughter.

In her vibrant life, Mona found joy in staying active and sharing her talents. Her love for singing enriched her life and the lives of others as she sang for the local senior center choir and performed at the church; she also was an avid card player and loved cows. Her passion for gardening was evident as she lovingly tended to her tomatoes and dahlias. A true collector at heart, Mona built an impressive array of salt and pepper shakers which she proudly displayed throughout her home, each piece holding a story of its own.

Those who knew her will fondly remember Mona for her strong-willed spirit and her zest for life. She had a remarkable way of making everyone feel loved through the thoughtful cards, poems and flowers she sent to friends and family. Her holiday celebrations were legendary, as Mona loved going all out, hosting warm gatherings where her home was filled with festive decorations that sang, capturing the holiday spirit in every corner.

In honor of Mona's remarkable life, a private service will be held, where her family will gather to celebrate the love and laughter she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Harrison Senior Center , 300 George St. Harrison, OH 45030.
