It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Halloran, a beloved husband, devoted father, and proud grandpa. Mike, 81, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. He leaves behind his loving spouse of 58 years, Virginia Halloran, as well as his cherished children Michelle Dowell and Chris Halloran. Mike took great joy in his role as a grandfather to A.J., Jason, and Wade, finding pride in their accomplishments.

In addition to his immediate family, Mike is survived by his dear sisters Mary (John) Lammers and Ginny (Owen) Smith. A truck driver by profession, Mike found solace in collecting trucks, guns, and knives throughout his life. His adventurous spirit led him to enjoy visits to casinos and playing the lottery, always finding excitement in the possibility of chance.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Mike's life will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd. from 4-6pm. United States Army will perform funeral honors at 6pm.  This will be a time for family and friends to come together, share memories, and pay their respects to a man who touched many lives.
