Michele C. (nee McKeever) Holthaus, beloved wife of 50 years Dennis "Denny" Holthaus. Devoted mother of Matthew (Sasha) Holthaus, Scott (Rachelle) Holthaus and Brian (Kelly) Holthaus. Devoted Nana of Mia, Sophie, Mackenzie, Paloma, Hank and Maxi. Dear sister of Mallory (Steve) Collier and Marcie (Phil) Garda. Sister-in-law of Kenny (Sandy) Holthaus, Steve (Carol) Holthaus and Cindy (Richard) Hupp. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Michele (with one L) was an extraordinary woman with a sharp mind for politics, a heart of gold and the "gift to gab". Michele Christine was nicknamed "the talking machine" by her Dad at the youngest of age; a nickname she lived up to every day. Mrs. Holthaus, Mom, Michele, Nana, LOVED her family dearly and would let anyone within sight know her true feelings. Many strangers, soon to be fast friends, would get the full bio of nearly all family members, from their name, shoe size, to their passions in life. Michele was truly God's gift to those around her, impacting so many, in such a positive way. Michele passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023 at the age of 72. A memorial gathering will take place at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Road on Monday (Dec 4) from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to YMCA of the USA.
