In loving memory of Michael E. Pfister, devoted brother, beloved uncle, and dear great uncle peacefully passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 73. Born on July 16, 1950, he was the treasured son of the late Robert and Jeanne (nee McGowan) Pfister. Michael's intelligence, humor, and caring nature and generous heart touched many lives.

Micheal is the dear brother of Susan Thomas, Lynn (Scott) Weishaupt and Steven (Tammy) Pfister. He was a proud uncle to Jeff, Doug (Heather Lilly) and Scott Thomas, Eric (Beth) Weishaupt, Shelly (Rick) Stark, Taylor, Steven and Tori Pfister. As a doting great-uncle, he found joy in the lives of Tyler, Nora and Eli Weishaupt, Theodore and Amelia Stark, Patrick Thomas and Gabrielle Thomas. Michael will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his family, and his memory will live on through stories filled with love and laughter.

A proud graduate of Saint Xavier High School, Michael showcased exceptional talent in mathematics, which laid the foundation for his academic journey. He attended the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York and the University of Cincinnati before earning his degree in electrical engineering from the prestigious University of California, Berkeley. This education led him to a fulfilling career at M.M. Precision Systems, where he specialized in developing robotics systems and often traveled internationally to Germany and Japan, leaving an indelible mark in his field.

Beyond his professional life, Michael was an adventurer at heart. During his time in California, he embraced the outdoors through hiking, camping, backpacking, snow skiing, and water skiing. He possessed a keen interest in the stock market from a young age, fondly recalling evenings spent counting his savings, exemplifying his thoughtful nature and keen intellect. His culinary skills were equally impressive; as he delighted in gardening and preparing flavorful Asian dishes that brought joy to those around him.

In honor of Michael's life, private services will be held at the convenience of the family, where they will gather to reflect on cherished memories and celebrate his remarkable journey. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Cincinnati , P.O. Box 633597, Cincinnati, OH 45263-3597, in recognition of the compassionate care that was provided.

Michael will be remembered not only for his achievements but for his warmth, kindness, and the boundless love he shared with those around him. His peaceful presence and gentle spirit have left a lasting impression on the hearts of his family and friends.
