In loving memory of Michael James Greivenkamp, otherwise known as "Slam" or "Grand Slam", who was born on July 5, 1956 in Cincinnati, OH. He was the beloved son of the late John and Rita (nee Bock) Greivenkamp. Mike peacefully passed away on July 22, 2026, at the age of 70, and will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, infectious humor and unwavering love for family and friends.

Slam was a devoted father to Kyle (Krista) Greivenkamp, Kristie (Brian) Van Driessche, and Kurt (Jessie) Greivenkamp. As Grand Slam, he took immense pride in his grandchildren: Jadon, Kenzie, Kohen, Kara, Kade, Princess Josie, and Kammie. He was also brother to Gary (Laura) Greivenkamp, Jill (Kevin) Bouck, Gregg (Barbara) Greivenkamp, Ted (Dianna) Greivenkamp, the late John E. Greivenkamp, Jr. and late Francis Greivenkamp.

Mike built a successful career selling fries and other potato products in the United States and around the world.  He never met a stranger, approached life with enthusiasm and was passionate about everything he did.  Of all the titles he held, none meant more to him than Dad, and later, Grand Slam.  He was a devoted father who proudly coached his children's teams, especially the Spud Babes.  Grand Slam rarely missed a game, driving near and far, always arriving with candy and snacks in hand.

Mike kept busy in retirement.  He could often be found on the golf course, tackling his latest remodeling project, or dedicating countless hours at Pebble Creek, taking on any task big or small. As an avid traveler, he earned Million Miler airline status and took great pride in having visited all 50 states.

In honor of Mike, a visitation will be held at Pebble Creek Golf Course, located at 9799 Prechtel Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45252, on Monday, August 3 from 4:00-6:00 PM, followed by a brief memorial service. The family asks that attendees wear shorts in his honor, celebrating the joy and fun he brought into every occasion . A  private Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, August 4, at 11:00 AM at St. Ignatius Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Michael's Believe Foundation at 288 Tamarack Trail, Springboro, OH 45066.
