With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Grace Suer (nee Zureick), who left us peacefully on April 1, 2025, at the remarkable age of 97. Born on May 17, 1927, in Cincinnati, OH, Mary Grace lived a life full of love, wisdom, and kindness.

Mary Grace was the beloved wife of the late Robert J. Suer and the late George J. Erb. Mary Grace was the cherished mother of her children, Bob (Diana) Suer, Dan (Mary Jo) Suer, Nancy (Ron) Von DenBenken, Mike (Sandy) Suer, and the late Debbie (Tom) Wind. She was also a loving step-mother to Rosemary (Mike) Heckler, John (Julie) Erb, Michael (Carole) Erb, Ed (Cindy) Erb, Tom (Liz) Erb, and Kathy Erb.

Mary Grace cherished her role as a grandmother, and her legacy will live on through her grandchildren: Josh (Raquel) Suer, Joel (Maria) Suer, Brooke (Chase) Elliott, Grant (Jenna) VanAman, Jason (Alex) Schnur, John (Julie) Schnur, Megan Suer, Rob Suer, Jon (Heather) Wind, Greg Wind, Nik Wind, Ben (Hannah) Wind, David Von DenBenken, Lori Von DenBenken, Eric Von Den Benken Jennifer (Larry) Cramer, Julie Heckler, Jonathon Heckler, Emily (Mike) Spinelli, Abby (CJ) Rivera, Maddie Erb, Tony (Jennifer) Erb, Andy Erb, Sarah (Eric) Ruhe, Adam Erb, Kevin Erb, Andrew Miller, and her late grandson, Shawn Allen, along with Diana (Jad) Abumeri-Gibson, T.J. (Caroline) Erb and Colin Driscoll. Mary Grace's love extended to her great-grandchildren, who brought joy and light into her life: Addie, Jace, Jett, Brittany, Dani, Miles, Kennedy, Quinn, Jayden, Blake, Matthew, Zachary, Mason, Nolan, Olivia, Lydia, Hudson, Rosalie, Ciara, Jayla, Ameerah, Annabelle, Braiden, Claire, Braxton, Oliver, Joseph, Elizabeth, Anthony and Connor. Mary Grace is preceded in death by her seven brothers and one sister.

Throughout her life, Mary Grace found joy in the simple pleasures, including watching baseball and the NCAA March Madness, as well as following the achievements of her grandchildren. She was actively involved in her church community at St. James Church, where she participated in the bereavement committee, planned trips for the St. James Seniors, and contributed to St. Mary's Ladies Society. Additionally, she worked behind the scenes as the operations manager at Haubner Field, a testament to her unwavering commitment to service. Her devotion to her family was evident in every moment she spent following her grandchildren's lives with joy and pride.

The visitation for Mary Grace will take place at Frederick Funeral Home, located at 2553 Banning Road, on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Family and friends will gather to honor her memory during a Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Church - White Oak, located at 3565 Hubble Road, on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 9:30 AM.
