Mary Kathryn Fritz (nee Hafner), beloved wife of 57 years to Kenneth Fritz. Devoted mother of Barbara (Bill) Hummel, Linda (Jeremy) Korniak and Karen (David) Locke. Loving grandmother of Brandon, Lauren and Will Hummel, Jacob, Megan and Allison Korniak, Kyle and Kian Locke. Dear sister of Bob (Bernie) Hafner and Janet Hafner. Aunt of David and Michael Hafner. Mary passed away after a long battle with cancer on Friday, November 26, 2021 at the age of 78. Mary was a pressed flower artist, well known in the Midwest for 40 years. Her business was known as Nature's Bouquet. She received numerous awards for her unique talent painting on pressed flowers. She presented her work at many prominent art shows and appeared on regional TV. She was born and educated in Dayton, Ohio. Graduate of Julienne High School and Miami Jacobs Business College. Long time active member of Corpus Christi Church. She was a devout Catholic and trusted in God's Will. Visitation will take place at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd. on Tuesday (November 30) from 6-8pm and also at Corpus Christi Church, 2014 Springdale Road on Wednesday (December 1) from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am.
