In Loving Memory of Martha Louise Reilly (née Donovan), a woman of warmth, wit, and quiet strength,who passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, at the age of 96, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 12, 1929, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the beloved daughter of Edward and Mary Donovan.

Martha shared a long and loving life with her late husband, Thomas L. Reilly. Together, they created a joyful home and raised five children: Tim (Patti) Reilly, Tom (Patti) Reilly, Kevin (Linda) Reilly, Mary (Kim) Hoekstra, and Peggy (Larry) Wiegele. Her deep love for family only grew as she became a proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to 33 great-grandchildren.She shared a close bond with her sister, the late Mary (the late Jim) Collins, with whom she created a lifetime of shared stories, laughter, and devotion to the Lord. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Martha was a woman of deep faith.  Her greatest legacy is the example she gave to us all, young and old, of how to live a life devoted to the Lord.

Martha was a voracious reader and avid sports fan. She loved watching her Reds and Bengals, and was a long time Elder football season ticket holder. She also found joy in crossword puzzles, cryptograms, and family card games-but nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with her family.

Martha was a proud graduate of Seton High School (1947) and the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy (1951).

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1175 Overlook Ave, beginning at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to Seton High School (3901 Glenway Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45205) or Hospice of Cincinnati (P.O. Box 633597, Cincinnati, OH 45263-3597), whose care and compassion meant so much to Martha and her loved ones.
