We honor the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Marjorie E. Weightman, on this day, we celebrate the cherished memories of a loving wife, devoted mother, doting grandmother and great grandmother. Marjorie peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at the age of 96.

Known for her passion for craft fairs and jewelry, Marjorie had an unmatched love for all things beautiful, especially flowers, knowing each one by name and the art of keeping them vibrant. With a keen eye for bargains, she adored shopping and always relished a good deal. This stylish matriarch took pride in her well-matched ensembles, right down to coordinating her shoes and purses.

Marjorie's tender heart extended to her affection for animals, particularly her dachshunds and beloved feline companions, Fluffy and Smokey. She cherished moments spent with her family, engaging actively in her children's activities, like Girl Scouts, and enjoying spa days with her loved ones. An advocate for good food and cherished conversations, she loved to share a meal and her warmth with all she met, as she never met a stranger.

Marjorie was a beloved wife of 52 years to the late Walter Weightman. She is survived by her loving family, including her children Jeff Weightman, Vickie (Joseph Jr.) Neugebauer, Cheryl Grimes, and Mike (Amy) Weightman, along with her adored grandchildren Stephanie (Eric) Lariccia, Greg Neugebauer, Tara (Zach) Grimes, Shelbie (James) Dunlap, Austin Weightman, and Chrissy (Randy) Norris and great-grandchildren Dylan Lariccia, Kylie Lariccia, Anna Norris and Isabel Norris. Visitation to honor and remember Marjorie's life will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, located at 2553 Banning Road on Friday, March 8, beginning at 5:00 pm, with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully welcomes donations to the Alzheimer's Association , P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011 to support the vital work of this organization.
