Marjorie "Midge" Bly (nee Schott), beloved wife of 70 years to the late Clayton L. Bly. Loving and devoted mother to Debra and Amy (Michael Shuter). Daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude Schott, and preceded in death by sisters Rosemary and Ruthellen. Also grandma to "grand-dogs" Chelsea, Lucy, Bailey, Max, Lily, Alfie, and Gracie. Marjorie passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at the age of 98. She was very proud of her Corryville roots and often shared her happy memories growing up there, even during the Depression. Marjorie attended Our Lady of Angels High School and made friendships there that lasted a lifetime. After graduation, she worked at Fashion Frock and at Western-Southern, where she met Clayton, the love of her life. She later worked for many years as a secretary at Little Flower Elementary, and was known for taking students under her wing who were bullied by other kids. After their retirement, she and Clayton enjoyed taking day trips around the tri-state area and discovering new restaurants. She worked into her 70s, bowled into her 80s, and drove her car into her 90s. In her later years, she enjoyed reading mysteries, watching old movies, trading high-fives with grand-dog Gracie, and spending time with her family, who are heartbroken at her loss and who will dearly miss her wisdom, spunk, and sense of humor. Visitation will take place at 9 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 21 until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 5560 Kirby Road.
