Marion H. (nee Hiller) Morris, beloved wife of the late Edward R. Morris. Devoted mother of Dave (Holly) Morris, Donn (Jenny) Morris and Rick (Lisa) Morris. Loving grandmother of Rob (Debbie) Morris, Jeff (Jenn) Morris, Dan Morris, Mike (Dory) Morris and Michelle (Mike) Fiwek. Great grandmother of Kaitlyn, Zachary, Joshua, Koen, Ryan, Andrew, Maddie, Sam and Claudia. Dear sister of Jan McCarthy and Jean Wolf. Marion passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, May 5, 2022, 4 days short of her 99th birthday. Marion was an energetic and loving mother to three boys, to whom she was fiercely devoted. She found time to pursue many other activities. She developed a talent for painting, beginning with watercolors under the tutelage of Cincinnatian Robert Fabe, and soon progressed to oils and mixed media works. She exhibited and sold many of her paintings throughout the area. She and her husband Ed, since deceased, were also the first AAA tour directors that were signed as a couple, and their popularity resulted in repeat customers and lifelong friendships. She was an accomplished contract bridge player. She took up tennis in her 60's and played interclub until her health would not allow it anymore. She was an avid golfer, and played in local women's leagues for years. She was also a devout Catholic and was guided in her life by her faith. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed. Visitation at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd., on Friday (May 13) from 9:00 to 10:30 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ignatius Church, 5222 North Bend Rd., at 11:00 AM. Following the church service all are invited to either accompany the family to the cemetery and/or to join us in a reception in Loyola Hall, on the campus of St. Ignatius Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Greater Cincinnati Chapter or to St. Jude Children's Hospital of Memphis.
