In loving memory of Marilyn Ann Vogel (nee Hafer), who passed away on July 6th, 2025, at the age of 93. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Carl G. and the late Rosella (nee LePere) Hafer on January 11, 1932. Marilyn was married for 61 years to her beloved husband, the late James E. Vogel, and was the devoted mother of four children: Linda (Matthew) Beeson, Daniel (Lisa) Vogel, Michael (Jennifer) Vogel, and Pamela (the late David) Froncek. She was so proud of her six grandchildren: Philip (Lauren) Beeson, Lauren (Taylor) Pence, Kathleen Vogel, Alex Vogel, Alison (Cody) Patton, and James (Alissa) Vogel, and cherished her ten great grandchildren: Simon, Claire, and Garrett Pence, Eve, Ari, and Jane Beeson, Daniel and Spencer Bush, and Sophia and Vivian Patton. She had one dear brother, Carl W. (Jane) Hafer.

Marilyn was a graduate of Mt. Healthy High School and Christ Hospital School of Nursing. As a Registered Nurse, she worked at Christ Hospital after graduation, and later in life, she worked at Providence Hospital in Mt. Airy when it first opened in the 1970s. Throughout different times in her life, she was an enthusiastic church, community, school, and Cincinnati Zoo volunteer. She was a student of world history, geography, and current events, and was an avid reader. Once retired, Marilyn loved to travel to places she had read about and extensively researched family genealogy. She loved to laugh and enjoyed so much being with and caring for her extended family and friends. Discussing memories of her family from the generations that came before her gave her such joy. We will miss her dearly.

A private family gathering and service will be held at the convenience of the family, and she will be interred at Spring Grove Cemetery.
