Marilyn D. Mollmann (nee Inderhees), who was born on August 6, 1927, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026 at the age of 98, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Cincinnati, OH, Marilyn was the daughter of the late John E. and Helen C. Inderhees. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

Marilyn is now reunited with her beloved husband, the late Charles A. Mollmann, with whom she shared a lifetime of warmth, love, and beautiful memories. Together, they raised a family that includes their children: James (Jaye McDermott) Mollmann, Janet (Bruce) Dickman, Pat (Dale) Suttmiller, Karen (David) Groh and Daniel (Nora) Mollmann. Marilyn took delight in her role as a grandmother to Beth (Tony) Mette, Laura (Nate) Burkholder, Joe (Roshni) Dickman, Tom Dickman, Mary (Brian) Ulrich, Julie Suttmiller, Pete (Miho) Suttmiller, Nick Suttmiller, Jenny (Josh) Naticchia, Tony Groh, Chris (Maithili) Groh, Erin (Sam) Millspaw, Micah Groh, Steve (Hayley) Mollmann, Andy Mollmann, and Catherine Mollmann. She was a proud great-grandmother to Katelyn, Claire, Isaac, Lucy, Dominic, Rian, Isha, John, Henry, Sam, Josh, Anna, Kai, Zoey, Nellie, Charles, Diana, Petra, Aarna, Ignatius, Julian, and Elliot. Marilyn will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her family, and her memory will live on through stories filled with love and laughter.

A devout Catholic, Marilyn found solace and strength in her faith, attending St. James Church for over 70 years. Her unwavering commitment to her beliefs shaped her life, and her community of friends at the church became an extended family.

A visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, located at 2553 Banning Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45239, on July 14, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Following the visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. James Church, 3565 Hubble Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45247, at 10:30 AM. Burial will take place immediately after the Mass across the street at St. James Cemetery. The family warmly invites all who knew and loved Marilyn to gather in prayer and reflection, sharing the love, laughter, and treasured memories that defined her remarkable life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that  memorials be made to St. Vincent de Paul , 1125 Bank Street, Cincinnati, OH 45214 or Mercy McAuley High School , 6000 Oakwood Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45224.

As we come together to commemorate Marilyn, let us not only grieve her passing but also celebrate the light and love that she shared with us all. Marilyn touched countless lives and her warmth and spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
