In loving memory of Marian Frances Breen, who graced the world with her presence in Cincinnati, OH, on June 10, 1928, and peacefully passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the age of 96, surrounded by her loving family. Marian was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, whose warmth and kindness touched the hearts of everyone she met.

Marian was a figure of resilience and warmth, renowned for her kindness and unwavering spirit. Throughout her life, she embodied the values of compassion and dedication, and her legacy will be carried on in the hearts of her loved ones. Marian was the beloved wife of the late James Breen and a loving mother to her cherished children: James William Breen, Susan Glassmeyer, Cheryl Hailstones, Marina Durden, Barbara Breen, John Madonis, David Breen, and Rick Breen. She was a caring grandmother to ten grandchildren and a proud great-grandmother of fourteen great-grandchildren. She is survived by her dear sister, Christina Mulvaney, and is preceded in death by her beloved siblings: Dorothy Thomas, Daniel (late Helen) Thomas, Joyce (late John) Rizzo, and Pat (Thomas) Burgasser. Marian will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her family, and her memory will live on through the cherished stories filled with love and laughter that they will forever share.

A devoted Catholic, Marian was actively involved at St. Ann Church, where she found a deep sense of community and purpose. As a proud homemaker, she created a warm and inviting home, renowned for her exceptional cooking skills. Her recipes, shared with family and friends, will forever remain a treasured part of their gatherings, although none could quite match the love she infused into them. Marian truly was the life of the party, thriving in the company of her family. She had a special fondness for babies and delighted in the joy they brought into her life. Her love for flowers and gardening was evident in her nurturing spirit, as she tended to her plants with care and dedication. An avid card player, Marian enjoyed many moments of laughter and camaraderie at the senior center and YMCA, where her laughter and lively spirit brought light to all.

A visitation to honor Marian's life will be held at St. Ann Church, 2900 W Galbraith Rd., on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 9:30 AM until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 AM. Friends and family are invited to gather as we celebrate the beautiful memory of a remarkable woman who brought joy and light into our lives. In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor Marian's life to contribute to Hospice of Cincinnati, Blue Ash , P.O.
