With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret L. Jung, affectionately known as Peggy, who left us on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at the age of 88. Born on July 4, 1936 to the late Thomas and Louise (nee Doerflein) Harrington, Peggy lived a life rich in compassion and dedication, leaving an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Peggy devoted many years to her profession as a Registered Nurse and CRNA, tirelessly caring for her patients and imparting her knowledge as an instructor in the operating room for nursing students. Her unwavering commitment to the healthcare community serves as a testament to her caring spirit and her desire to uplift those around her.

A true lover of life, Peggy found joy in the company of her two beloved cats, who were a constant source of comfort and companionship. She was also an avid traveler, finding great fulfillment in her involvement with Vie de France, which allowed her to explore new horizons and forge lasting friendships. Peggy had a profound appreciation for the arts, and she cherished attending musicals and performances, celebrating the beauty and creativity that they brought into her life. Her generosity knew no bounds; Peggy held a special place in her heart for organizations that made a difference in her community. She actively supported the Cincinnati Zoo, Cincinnati Children's Hospital, the Heart Association, and inner-city Catholic Schools, leaving a legacy of hope and kindness that will resonate for years to come.

Peggy is survived by her devoted sister, Cynthia (late Gary) Brockhaus, her dear nieces and nephew, Tracey (Jeff) Lusby, Amy (Keith) Wiethe and Andrew (Michelle) Brockhaus and her loving great nieces and nephews, Nathan, Alison, Olivia, Gabrielle, Brock, AJ and Samantha, who will forever hold cherished memories of their time together. Her legacy of kindness, service, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Friends and family are invited to join in honoring Peggy's remarkable life. Visitation at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd., on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 8:30 a.m.- 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Church, 3565 Hubble Rd., at 10:00 a.m. As we gather to celebrate Peggy's life, let us come together to share our memories and reflect on the profound impact she had on our lives.
