In loving memory of Margaret M. Brand, who passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on August 15, 1939, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Margie was the cherished daughter of Anthony and Margaret Schaller. Margie led a life defined by love, kindness, and a deep commitment to family and friends.

Margie was the cherished wife of the late Lawrence "Pat" Brand for 53 wonderful years. She was a devoted mother to Michael (Kathie) Brand and the late David (Julie) Brand. Her legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren, Ashley, Rachel, Andrew, and Sophie Brand. She also shared a special bond with her siblings, Tony (late Donna), Jerry (late Donna), and Tim (late Teri Brunsman) Schaller, as well as countless nieces, nephews, and friends whose lives were enriched by her presence.

A woman of many passions, Margie loved to travel, embarking on adventures to remarkable places such as China, Germany, Australia, and across Europe. She delighted in experiencing new cultures and cherished cruising to beautiful Alaska. She also continued engaging in lively card games with friends she had known since grade school as well as bowling with other ladies from Little Flower. At home, Margie created a warm and inviting atmosphere, where family gatherings were filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories. She had a unique gift for making everyone feel at home, and her love for family was the cornerstone of her life. In her later years, she found joy in the camaraderie of the Carthage Seniors, participating in chair volleyball and traveling with her friends.

We invite family and friends to come together in remembrance of Margie. A visitation will be held at Little Flower Church, 5560 Kirby Ave. on Saturday, March 29, 2025, beginning at 9:00 AM, followed by a heartfelt funeral service at 10:00 AM where we will honor her memory and commemorate her beautiful life.

In this time of sorrow, let us reflect on the countless moments of joy, adventure, and love that Margie brought into our lives. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in our hearts as we hold dear the memories of her kindness and compassion.
