Lois Volmer (nee Braeunig), beloved wife of the late Robert C. Volmer. Devoted mother of Robert A. (Mona) Volmer, Kathy (John) Brockhaus, Mary Beth (Jeff) Ulm, Patricia (late Tony) Gibbon, Theresa (Patrick) McCarthy, James (Beth) Volmer, Jeffrey Volmer, John (Cindy) Volmer, Anne (Larry) Honigford, Gregory (Heather) Volmer and late J. Michael (Karen) Volmer. Loving grandmother of 32 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her sisters Phyllis Guthrie, Bernice Davis, Sr. Joanne Braeunig, R.S.M. and Mary Romer. Lois passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the age of 92. Visitation (only 30 people in the building at any given time) at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd., on Wednesday (March 3) from 8:30am- 9:30am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Church (White Oak) at 10:30am and church will livestream her funeral mass.
