In loving memory of Lois J. Schrott, who passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026, at the age of 75. Lois, was born on February 21, 1951, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was the cherished daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy Weingartner. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, unwavering positivity, and the light she brought into the lives of those around her.

Lois's life was a testament to love and dedication. She found joy in creating a warm and nurturing home alongside her husband, Gary Schrott, where laughter and cherished memories flourished. As a devoted mother to Eric Schrott and Emily (Jeff Brennan) Schrott, and a loving grandmother to Cora Jean Brennan, her family was her greatest joy. Dear sister-in-law of Steve (Lynne) Schrott, Bill Schrott, Pat (John) Hennard and Lois (Robert) Morgan. Lois will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her family, and her memory will live on through stories filled with love and laughter.

Lois was a dedicated teacher at Colerain High School, where her passion for education inspired countless students and fostered a love of learning. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, whether it was getting lost in a good book or enjoying time spent with her beloved cats. Yet, it was the love for her family that illuminated her life, and the precious memories they created together will forever remain in their hearts.

In honoring the beautiful life and legacy of Lois Schrott, a visitation will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, located at 2553 Banning Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45239, on July 7, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. James Church, 3565 Hubble Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45247, at 10:30 AM. The family invites all who knew and loved Lois to gather in reflection, sharing in the love, laughter, and memories that defined her remarkable life. As we come together in grief, we will also celebrate the light that Lois brought into the world.
