In loving memory of Linda Lee Platt, who was born on July 15, 1947, in Cincinnati, OH, and passed away from this life on June 7, 2025, at the age of 77. Linda was the cherished daughter of the late Louise and late John Thompson and stepdaughter of Florence Thompson. Linda was a bright light to all who knew her, and her absence will be deeply felt.

Linda was the adored wife of Danny Platt for nearly 54 years, creating a loving and nurturing home filled with laughter and warmth for their children: Michael (Marji) Platt and the late Michelle Platt. She was a loving grandmother to her precious granddaughters, Caroline and Grace Platt. Linda also cherished her relationships with her siblings, Kim (the late Peter) Salit and John (Pam) Thompson, and many loving nieces and nephews. Linda will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her family, and her memory will live on through stories filled with love and laughter.

Family was at the center of Linda's life. She relished every moment spent with her loved ones, particularly her grandchildren. Together, they enjoyed magical excursions to Disney World and peaceful trips to the Smoky Mountains. Linda also shared delightful shopping adventures with her sister Kim, always on the lookout for a good bargain, and embraced the festive spirit of their famous crazy sock contests.

Beyond her family ties, Linda was a woman of deep faith and commitment to her community. She was a long-time member of Groesbeck Church, where she sang in the choir and found solace in her beliefs. As president of the Northwest Women's Club, Linda dedicated herself to serving others and positively impacting her community. In her leisure time, she enjoyed playing bridge with friends, tackling crossword puzzles, and indulging in her passion for reading. Her joyful spirit and unwavering kindness left an indelible mark on the lives she touched.

To honor and celebrate Linda's remarkable life, a visitation will be held at Groesbeck Church, 8871 Colerain Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45251, on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. All are invited to gather as we reflect on her life and share our cherished memories of her. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Groesbeck Church or the Morris Animal Foundation at 720 S Colorado Blvd #174a, Denver, CO 80246, organizations that were close to her heart.

Linda Lee Platt will be remembered not just for the roles she played in life but for the love she shared and the kindness she spread. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who loved her, and she will forever remain in our hearts.
