Linda Lockwood, 75 of Cincinnati Ohio, passed away on Thursday, October 5th at Wellsprings Retirement Center, a part of the Evergreen Retirement Community, where she made her home for the past several years.

She was born October 16th, 1947, a daughter of the late Esther Lee Meyer and Louis G Meyer.

Over the years Linda worked several jobs, mostly in the retail sector, including Boyd's Bears, Lug's Luggage and Coldwater Creek where she forged many lasting friendships.

On June 7th, 1972, she married Kenneth Lockwood, who precedes her in death. Her surviving family is her son Scott Louis Lockwood (Rebecca) and their son's Jonny and Brady and Kellie Marie Lockwood Kist (William), a sister Barbara Miller and her niece and nephews Helena, Liam and Louis. She also had several nieces and nephews on the Lockwood side of her family.  In addition, the Kist family has been a large part of her life in the past several years.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Wellspring and Queen City Hospice for the caring and loving devotion they provided to Linda and all those they serve.

As a young woman Linda was active in Job's Daughters and Girl Scouts.  She was an avid Red's fan and dog lover. She enjoyed many crafts including painting, knitting and baking. In her later years her favorite thing to do was to get donuts with her grandsons when she would visit them in Las Vegas.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 12 at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be immediately afterwards at Greenwood Cemetery.
