It is with sad hearts to announce that Linda Charlene Pfennig Huffman departed for the celestial kingdom on December 19, 2020, at the age of 73. A loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, she was known as kind of heart, gracious in spirit and a maternal influence to all. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on December 10, 1947, she was most at home in Southern California where she spent most of her life. She loved Bobby Darin, Blake Shelton, statues of the Virgin Mary and Disneyland where she could be found riding her favorite ride, Buzz Lightyear, multiple times after eating at the Plaza Inn… especially on Thanksgiving. She adored her seven siblings: Patricia Kniffel, Joyce Anderson, Barbara Mertens (deceased), Debbie Cobb, Stephen Alessandri, David Alessandri and Lori Pfennig Ortega as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews, related and adopted. She is survived by her two daughters: Jennifer Joyce and Melissa Marie; and she loved most of all, her precious little angel, her granddaughter, Caitlin Linell, who was the center of her world. We are comforted that she is happy and with her own mother now. Be careful, God bless you, I love you.
