Linda LaFaye (nee Bolin) Gossett, a cherished soul who touched the lives of many, will be remembered fondly after her peaceful passing on November 24, 2025. Born on April 10, 1940, in Alpine, Kentucky, to the late Luther Bolin and late Donna (nee Keith) Bolin, she was 85 years young at the time of her departure, surrounded by the love of her family.

Linda's journey was marked by love and devotion. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John, and her dedicated children, Shari, Barry, and Rick. She holds a special place in the hearts of those who remember her twin brother, Denzil, who she often spoke of, as well as her siblings, Becky, Desi, Arnold, Alphie, and Lou. Her love will continue to shine through her surviving son, Gary Gossett, and her grandchildren, Krista, Erin, Ryan, Tiffany, Sarah, Austin, Michael, Jake, Jesse, and Angel. Her legacy of love will also be carried on by her great-grandchildren, Thomas, Elise, Melody, Dameon, Marcus, Anthony, Alexander, Dominick, Trey, Addie, Kallie, Weston, Maleah, Mariah, Avalee, Zoe, Brianna, Jaxon, Carlee and Roman. Great great grandmother of Harvey and Logan.

Linda had a zest for life that was palpable. She found joy in simple pleasures, frequently visiting the Red Squirrel for good company and delicious food. Her hands were often busy creating beautiful crochet pieces, and she found peace in nature walks. For years, she meticulously journaled her days, capturing memories of her attire and the conversations she cherished. Yet, above all, Linda's heart belonged to her family, whose laughter and love were her greatest treasures.

In honor of Linda's life, her family will gather together for a private service. Those wishing to pay tribute to her life may consider memorial contributions to the charity of their choice, reflecting her generous spirit.
