Lillian Linville, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the remarkable age of 98. Born on December 8, 1927, to the late Joseph and late Mary (nee Horn) Stevens in Ravenna, Kentucky. Lillian's life was a testament to resilience, love, and unwavering dedication to her family. Lillian was the beloved wife of the late Robert Linville, with whom she shared many wonderful years filled with love and adventure. She devotedly raised her children, Michael (Teresa) Linville and the late Carolyn Linville. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her, including her grandchildren, Steven (Heather) Linville and Ryan Linville, as well as her great-grandchildren, Oakley and Hudson, who brought her immense joy. Lillian is survived by her dear brother Howard Stevens, alongside cherished memories of her late sisters, Nellie Vanover and Marie Sims. A woman of simple pleasures, Lillian had a passion for gardening, nurturing her plants with the same love she extended to her family. Following their retirement, she and Robert delighted in exploring the beauty of out West, creating lasting memories along the way. In celebration of Lillian's remarkable life, funeral services will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd., on Wednesday (Oct. 7) at 1:30 PM where family and friends will gather to honor her legacy. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 12:30 PM- 1:30 PM, allowing loved ones to share their cherished memories. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Lillian's name to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301, as a reflection of her generous spirit and commitment to supporting others. As we prepare to say our goodbyes, let us remember Lillian's spirit-her laughter, her kindness, and her unwavering love, which will forever remain in our hearts.
